As a native of Philadelphia, PA, Marianne has always been captivated by the city's rich history. After earning a BA in Psychology from La Salle University, she developed a passion for history and genealogy, spending over 30 years researching and preserving the past through archival study, photo restoration, and historical documentation.
Now based in St. Augustine, FL, Marianne continues to research, write, and collaborate with historians and scholars dedicated to uncovering overlooked narratives in American history.
Beyond writing, Marianne brings a meticulous, investigative approach to historical research. With a diverse background in professional research, fraud examination, guardianship, fiduciary services, elder care, and court-mandated financial accounting, she applies her analytical skills to uncover hidden connections and ensure historical accuracy. This unique expertise allows her to approach historical records with precision, reconstructing the past with depth and integrity.
